The new system OccluSense^®, developed by Bausch combines the traditional and digital method of registration of the pressure distribution on occlusal surfaces.

The OccluSense device is being used in combination with a 60 micron thin single-use pressure sensor, colour coated in red, and is being applied exactly like a conventional occlusion test foil.

The patient's masticatory pressure distribution is being recorded digitally in 256 pressure levels being displayed with the OccluSense^® iPad App.

The traditional colour transfer on the occlusal surfaces facilitates the assignment of the recorded data.
